These terms cover the TripUpNow mobile app, the web app at app.tripupnow.com, and this website. Using TripUpNow means you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the app.
TripUpNow is operated from India. How we handle your data is a separate document — see the Privacy Policy.
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to that Google account secure. One account per person — accounts created to earn coins more than once are not allowed.
You must be at least 13 years old to use TripUpNow.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, that is used to abuse the rewards system, or that posts content we have to take down. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.
Coins are a score inside TripUpNow. They are earned by visiting places and completing trips, and they exist to make exploring more fun.
Coins have no monetary value. They are not currency, not credit, and cannot be bought, sold, transferred between accounts, or exchanged for cash.
We can remove coins that were earned this way, and close the account. We keep a record of how every coin was awarded, which is what makes that possible.
Reward rates, limits and any future ways to spend coins may change as the app develops. We may adjust or withdraw the coin system, with notice in the app where the change is significant. Because coins have no monetary value, no refund arises from such a change.
You keep ownership of the reviews and ratings you write. By posting them you give us permission to display them in the app and on our website, and to store and back them up, for as long as you leave them posted.
Post only what is yours to post, and keep it about the place. We remove content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, deceptive, invades someone's privacy, infringes copyright, or is posted to promote a business rather than to describe a visit.
We may hide or delete any review at our discretion, and we are not obliged to publish or keep publishing anything. You can delete your own reviews at any time.
If you have earned coins, your name, profile photo, coin total and number of places visited are visible to other TripUpNow users on the leaderboard. You can turn this off at any time in Profile → Privacy and still keep earning coins.
TripUpNow lists places, opening hours, seasons, routes, distances, travel times and weather. All of it is provided for general guidance and may be wrong, out of date, or incomplete. Opening hours and closed days change, roads close, and weather forecasts are estimates.
Check before you travel, and use your judgement when you get there. You are responsible for your own safety and for deciding whether a place, route or activity is suitable for you.
Restaurants, stays, hospitals, fuel stops and workshops shown in the app are listed for convenience. Listing one is not a recommendation, endorsement or guarantee of it, and we are not party to anything you arrange with them.
Travel to remote places carries risk. TripUpNow does not organise, supervise or accompany any trip, and taking a trip listed in the app is your own decision.
Photographs in the app come from a mix of sources, including our own, ones provided by partners, and ones licensed for reuse. Where a photograph requires attribution, the credit is shown behind the ⓘ on the image.
If you believe a photograph or any other content infringes your copyright, email support@tripupnow.com with enough detail to identify it and we will remove it while we look into it.

The TripUpNow name, logo, design and content are ours or our licensors'. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
We aim to keep TripUpNow running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors. Features may be added, changed or removed. We may suspend the service for maintenance, or stop offering it altogether — if we discontinue it, we will give notice in the app where we reasonably can.
TripUpNow is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the app — including anything that happens on a trip, at a place listed in the app, or through relying on information shown in it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here affects consumer rights you have under Indian law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
We may update these terms as the app develops. The “last updated” date at the top will change, and significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use TripUpNow after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
